The School Idol Festival series will be merged into the upcoming School Idol Festival 2 Miracle game

Inspired by the anime of the same name, the new project was first announced on November 13th, 2016 by KLab Games and Bushiroad at SIF (School Idol Festival) Thanksgiving Festival: Osaka, which was followed by the global launch of Love Live School Idol All Stars on September 26th, 2019.

Despite the fact that the game had a large number of players and positive reviews, the shutdown has been announced. The creators have stated in their official post that they will not be able to continue their operations, which they have been doing for many years despite obstacles.

The team has announced that the All Stars story featuring μ’s, Aqours, and Nijigasaki will remain available until the 6th aka the final season. With this final game shutdown, the Love Live School Idol Festival app series will be merged into Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live.

For those who missed out, Love Live School Idol Festival was the first to be shut down to welcome the sequel. While School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live’s global version is still in development, the makers need to make the ongoing series enjoyable to leave a positive impact on the upcoming title.

Rally Horizon is yet another attempt, and most likely looking to be a great addition to the already existing pool of top games.

In Rally Horizon, players can race against dozens of incredible new supercars on tracks all over the world. Each car has been specially designed, from its sounds to its modifications to make it an immersive experience. The game offers an offline open-world racing system which makes the experience even better. So after installation, Rally Horizon does not require an online connection.

However, things from the saving point of view are quite disappointing, as the developers have confirmed that Rally Horizon doesn’t yet have a cloud save feature. All game progress and in-app purchases may be lost if this racing game is deleted.

Rally Horizon is now available on Android via the Google Play Store. However, no news about the iOS release is announced yet, so stay tuned for more info.

The May 2023 month is now live which will be focusing on the Dark Ages season. So, the theme will be the same for the events and challenges taking place. There are a few events that are repetitive every month, which are Clan War Leagues and Raid Weekend. Hence, we’ll not be covering in detail about the same. The rest of the events are given on a weekly basis as follows.

Dark Ages King Challenge

Dark Ages King Challenge is the first challenge that arrived this week. A tricky base on offer, players have to take down a Town Hall 7 with Barbarian Kings guarding a base full of traps and skeletons surrounded by the walls of the higher town hall levels. Along with the full bounty, players can get the rewards of 400 XP, 20 Gems, and a Hero Potion.

Super Champion Hog Rider Terry is the latest card available in the game and comes with a unique ability. The ability is named Hoggy Height which allows Terry to take a leap to the sky and drop down to deliver area damage, somewhat similar to the Mega Knight. 

With an elixir value of 4, the Champion is really valuable and has plenty of options for the decks to be prepared. So, without much adieu, here are our top three recommended deck picks without any order.

1. Super Champion Terry, Ice Spirit, Dart Goblin, The Log, Bats, Electro Wizard, Poison, Inferno Tower

Average Elixir Cost: 3.1

Starting with our first deck, this is one of the common combinations used and is highly effective as well. The Ice Spirit, Dart Goblin, and the Bats provide a great low-cost and effective combination for quick counters, which allows you to spend more freely on the other cards.

The Super Champion Hog Rider serves as a direct win condition for which you do not need to worry much about the win condition. Inferno Tower offers great defensive cover with the Electro Wizard offering contributions on both attack and defense.

2. Super Champion Terry, Ice Spirit, Mega Knight, Mega Minion, Zap, Fireball, Inferno Dragon, Electro Wizard

Average Elixir Cost: 3.6

What about having two cards dealing area damage thanks to their abilities? Well, this deck’s purpose is exactly that. The Mega Knight and the Hog Champion will work effectively well together as both deal a good amount of damage, even though the former doesn’t frequent it at a certain position.

The rest of the cards are picked to maintain the defensive balance as well as serve good counters against the opponent’s Terry. For the exact reason, Mega Minion, Electro Wizard, and the Fireball are great picks to have with the rest of the cards helping in different scenarios.

3. Super Champion Terry, Ice Spirit, The Log, Princess, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Ice Golem, Rocket, Bats

Average Elixir Cost: 3

A very balanced deck on offer, this is also great during the final minute of the match, with plenty of quick cycle cards to choose from. Mini P.E.K.K.A helps in being a good counter to Terry, even though the area damage might be too tough to deal with for any card.

The rest of the cards are part of the popular Hog cycle deck. Log being the only cheap spell doesn’t hurt much, as the Rocket dealing area damage works in your favor too. Princess and Ice Spirit are good picks on the bridge while the Bats are cheap defensive cards.

Final Thoughts

New cards when introduced always peak interest within the community to check how they fare in-game. The newly introduced Champion is also very interesting in this regard and serves its purpose pretty well. Some good combinations work decently in the matches if they are paired well, so do try other decks other than the suggested three. It may not always work for every player but tested and proven decks always work in your favor if the cards are played correctly.

Clash Royale Season 47 Books of Clash Update details

The battles for the current season will be ongoing in the previous Legendary Hog Mountain Arena 10. The name might not follow the theme, but it will surely follow the new Champion card added.

New Super Champion Event

A new Super Champion is coming to the game, who is a variant of the Hog Rider himself. Named Terry, he plays like a regular Hog Rider save for his ability Hoggy Height, in which he throws himself to the sky and drops down to deliver area damage, somewhat similar to the Mega Knight. Terry’s deployment costs 4 elixirs and requires 1 elixir to activate his ability.

While being the protagonist of the upcoming Books of Clash graphic novel series, Terry will also appear in a new Super Champion event, so interested players should head over to the game if they want to try the brand-new champion and test him out on the arena.

New Tower Skins

Just like in regular seasons, two new Tower Skins are now available. It will follow a similar pattern, with one featuring in the Pass Royale and the other as a Shop purchase. The Gold Tier of the Pass Royale unlocks the Hog Head tower skin at Tier 48, while the Book Barricade tower skin can be bought from the shop.

The theme of the Hog Head is the Hog Rider himself, just like the name suggests. The design is leaned towards the Hog Rider’s face, where it is designed to give an angry look. The skin in the shop is book-themed, where the King Tower has three books stacked while the Princess Tower has a book full of pages turned upside down.

Emotes and Banners

Five new emotes will be making their way to the game which will follow the Books of Clash Theme. With one Hog and four Rider emotes, they are very expressive and add to the fun of battles. Overall, the number is pretty low, and with this season, there could have been more impressive emotes added.

As far as Banner Items are considered, players can get their hands on 40 brand-new banners that are available this season. Sixteen banners each will be featured in the Banner Box and the regular shop, where the Season Shop will have four, while Pass Royale and pre-ordering the box will fetch two each. The collection is pretty decent, and many of the players will like it.

Season Shop and Card Boosts

The Season Shop has once again come with some interesting offers up for grabs, which can be availed by the exchange of season tokens. Along with the cards on offer, banners, and emotes are also interesting purchases to have. Barbarians, Hog Rider, and Ram Rider are the cards that will be available for purchase, with the Monk, Hog Rider, and Ram Rider being the boosted cards for the season. So make sure to head to the events and grab those tokens at the earliest!

Balance Changes

This month, there are no balance changes. So, players can enjoy their cards and decks without worrying about the drop in winrate or performance.

Volume 1 of Books of Clash novel is now available to pre-order

The theme is inspired by the Books of Clash series, which is an eight-volume graphic novel set in the worlds of both Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. The first book, Volume 1, follows Terry, a young Hog Rider, and his high-flying hog Pim Pim on an odyssey full of legendary battles, unlikely new alliances, and unforgivable family betrayals.

The book has been designed by graphic novelist Gene Luen Yang. Volume 1 will be available on May 30th. Interested users can now pre-order Volume 1 here. The book is available in English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.

The base this time is really funny. I mean funny because the base is having a Town Hall 7 but with heroes guarding the base surrounded by the walls of the higher town hall levels. It looks so easy when you get a first look, but then, there must be a twist surrounding it because there is no way a challenge is that easy, and the twist lies with the traps.

The rewarding pattern is similar to all the previous challenges, but when we consider the loot, it is all good for the players. Along with the extra resources that are provided, players can gain 400 XP, 25 Gems, and a Hero Potion.

How to beat the Dark Ages King Challenge in Clash of Clans

The approach to the base is what makes the difference. Since you don’t have any other troops other than the family of barbarians, you should be wary of the traps and towers dropping poison spells that inflict a lot of damage. Knowing the positions of the traps beforehand by practicing two-three attacks is also a good way to approach the challenge.

First things first, it is taking out the bombs and activating towers and other traps in the base. For that, deploy Barbarians one each around the base, and this will help in popping the giant bombs. It might take 25-30 barbarians to do so, which is not a problem. Follow the same at the top right corner, to activate the giant bomb as well as the skeleton traps.

Once activated, choose one corner, it can be the top or bottom corner, and deploy the king and the rest of the barbarians. The skeletons activated from the traps will gather where you will take them out with the help of the poison spell you have. This will clear out the majority of the traps and will help in

Deploying the Super Barbarians altogether is a mistake, as you will lose their Rage ability. Drop them from time to time, say once you drop three each on either side, drop three more to keep their rage ability. This way, you can also save your barbarians from being wrecked if there is a trap that wasn’t activated last time. Use the King’s ability whenever you feel it is needed and you are good to go.

This is probably one of the easiest base challenges introduced in the game. There isn’t a strong strategy needed for this, but as mentioned earlier, this base is tricky, and on rare occasions not knowing the base’s weakness can spoil your attack. So to get the three-star, simply follow the easy steps outlined in this article to get the benefits!
