Honkai Star Rail is the newest game released by HoYoverse. It takes a different approach to gameplay than their previous game Genshin Impact. The combat in this game is a turn-based system. There are actually more types and classifications for the characters. Honkai Star Rail has 2 different classifications for the characters. Each of the characters has an element type associated to them. But on top of that, the characters in this game also have a role called Path. Path decides which role the character falls in. Here we will go through all the path types for a character and which character falls in which type in Honkai Star Rail.
Honkai Star Rail all Paths and their specialties
Honkai Star Rail has seven different paths for the characters. Any character in the game releases with a pre-determined path, and you cannot change it. But the paths give a good understanding of how the character is going to be played in the game. Here is a table showing all the paths, what each path means, and all the characters under that path.

These are all the paths you have in Honkai Star Rail. One exception to the locked path is the main character of the game. He can change his element type. With the change in element, his path also changes. Other than that, no other character can change its path.
